Nerd Factor:  noun 1) to define the state of one’s nerdiness with respect to another object, person, or place, ie. the nerd factor is high on that spinnaker uptake system 2) a method by which to rate the attention to detail which someone uses in laying out his or her running and standing rigging

Nerdtacular: adjective, evolved from its distant predecessors in the early 90′s: radical, awesome, nerdtacular takes on a slightly modified meaning of 1) excellent and with an elevated nerd factor

What’s Your Nerd Factor?

We’ve all done it, stood around a carbon mast, a well polished hull, or a beautifully faired centreboard and said ooooh yeaaaah baby.   So what  makes you tick? What makes you say “ooh baby, that is a niiice splice!”  Here is just a smattering of things that make me say ‘damn honey, those are some sweet cleats!’  Let’s celebrate our Nerd Factor, why not?
